- No — a companion is a web page behind a link, so one device on the table is enough: a score pad passed around, a life counter lying flat between two players, a bracket propped where everyone can see it. The honest limit: what you enter lives on that device, so keep one as the table's official copy.
- Will it work at the table without wifi?
- Yes. Open it once and it keeps working offline, so a cabin weekend or a dead spot in the basement won't stop the scoring. Add it to the device's home screen and it opens full-screen like any app, ready before the box is unpacked.
- Does it know the rules of my games?
- It knows what you tell it. Describe what needs counting and how — the phases, the scoring, the house rules — and it builds that structure; for well-known games a name and a sentence usually get you close. It keeps the numbers honest, and your table stays the referee.
